CHANGES IN SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDINGS

 

As of 13.01.2000, the following significant changes have taken 

place in the ownership structure of AS EMV, compared to the 

standings disclosed earlier.

The client account of Merita Bank Ltd. includes the stake 

held by Skanska OY, which made a tender offer to the shareholders 

of AS EMV. Skanska OY has 3,150,624 shares or 66.47% of the total 

volume of AS EMV shares as of 13.01.2000. This does not include 

transactions of the tender offer to the EMV minority shareholders, 

which has, according to the tender offer, value date on 04.02.2000.
