Yesterday Thomson Financial BankWatch upgraded Hansabank’s Intra

Country Issuer Rating to IC-A/B. Short-term rating was affirmed at

LC-1.

The rating decision was based on the size of ownership of the

strategic partner, on Hansabank’s importance in Swedbank’s global

strategy and on the likelihood of systemic risk.
