NEW SUPERVISORY BOARD MEMBERS



On 24.04.2000 the following new Hüvitusfond Supervisory Board members 

stepped into office for tenure of two years: Jürgen Ligi, Siiri 

Oviir, Jüri Tamm, Veiko Tali, Valdur Laid, Kadri Jäätma and Arvo 

Sirendi. Four of the above-mentioned were also the members of the 

previous Supervisory Board of the fund. 



Pursuant to Hüvitusfond law, Jürgen Ligi, Siiri Oviir, Jüri Tamm, 

Kadri Jäätma and Arvo Sirendi were elected to Hüvitusfond's 

Supervisory Board by the Parliament; Veiko Tali was appointed by the 

Minister of Finance and Valdur Laid by the President of the Bank of 

Estonia. 



Supervisory Board members elected Jürgen Ligi its chairman (also 

chaired the previous Supervisory Board) and Siiri Oviir its vice-

chairman.
