SALE OF HOLDING IN AS NORSAFE

On 20.06.2000 AS Norma signed an agreement for sale of its 50% shareholding
in AS Norsafe to Finnish Inka OY. After the transaction Inka Group will own
100% of AS Norsafe shares.

Norma decided to sell its holding due to the company's strategy to
focus on its main activity field - production and sale of safety
equipment for cars.

AS Norsafe was founded in 1989. The company produces and sells equipment for
lifting and fastening of goods. AS Norsafe is among the market leaders in the
Baltic countries in its activity field. In 1999 Norsafe's turnover was EEK 36
mln; the company's production and sales unit in Tallinn employs 32 people.

Inka Group is a member in Helsinki Stock Exchange listed Lassila and Tikanoja
Group; the company produces and sells lifting and fastening equipment for
industrial tape and goods. Inka OY is among the market leaders in the
Northern Europe in its activity field. In 1999 Inka's turnover was EUR 17.4
mln; the company employed 175 people.

In 1999 Norma's turnover was EEK 516.4 mln, and the company employed 1,159
people. The group has a 100% holding in subsidiaries AS Tööriistavabrik, AS
Norma Maja, Eksamo Automaatika AS, AS Metaprint, and ZAO Norma Osvar in
Russia.
