Resumes of new members of AS Eesti Telekom Supervisory Board (elected 

on 26.05.2000):



Madis Üürike

Born in 1943 in Tartu, Estonia. 

Education: Master's degree in philosophy and economics, department of 

economy at Stockholm University.

Currently works as counselor at the Ministry of Finance. 

Previous employment: Minister of Finance, counselor to Prime 

Minister, and counselor to Finance Minister. 



Mart Nurk

Born in 1942 in Tallinn, Estonia

Mr. Nurk has studied law at Stockholm University and Uppsala 

University, Jur.Kan.

Vice President at Telia, regional director in Estonia. 

Mr. Nurk has been a member of AS Eesti Telekom Management Board; he 

has also worked at Telia Infomedia AB and Aftonbladet AB.



Henrik Fabricius

Born in 1949 in Ballerup, Denmark.

Currently Vice President at Telia Mobile International. 

Previous employment: Telia Mobile Denmark, Tele Denmark Mobile,

International Scandinavia Service System.





Jaak Leimann

Born in 1941 in Võru, Estonia. 

Mr. Leimann has studied at Tallinn Technical University and at 

University of Tartu. 

Organization and economics faculty professor at Tallinna Technical 

University. 

Previous employment: Minister of Economic Affairs, Science Director 

at consultation company "Mainor", Director of Estonian Accounting 

Institute.





Andrus Villem

Born in 1959.

Studied at Tallinn Pedagogical Institute. 

Currently works as counselor to the Minister of Transport and 

Communications. 

Mr. Villem has been a member of Estonian Parliament, and worked as 

counselor to Vice Chairman of the Parliament, program director at 

Jaan Tõnisson Institute, journalist at newspapers "Eesti Ekspress" 

and "Eesti Elu".
