EMT NEW TECHNICAL CENTER
On September 5 Eesti Mobiiltelefon (EMT) and EMV signed a contract
for designing and construction of EMT technical center in Tallinn,
Peterburi Rd 60.
According to Peep Aaviksoo, EMT chairman of Management Board, EMV
won the bidding for construction of technical center. The total
area of the new technical center will be 3,000 m2, and it is
scheduled to be completed in summer 2001. The project of the
building allows to easily expand the building in the future, if
necessary. Total cost of the building is EEK 28.5 million. Peep
Aaviksoo said that building of the new technical center marks a
sign of EMT's continuous development, and it is necessary to better
service the company's clients.
In January 1997 the main building of EMT, also built by EMV, was
completed.
