ANNOUNCEMENT

 

APPROVAL OF TAKEOVER BID TO AS EESTI ÜHISPANK SHAREHOLDERS

 

Tallinn Stock Exchange Take-over Committee approved the announcement on 

take-over bid to shareholders of AS Eesti Ühispank by Skandinaviska Enskilda 

Banken AB, and the respective take-over prospectus.

 

According to the Take-over Committee's decision, the announcement on take-over 

bid and the take-over prospectus are to be published not later than on Monday, 

11.09.2000. 

 

Furthermore, the offeror must also publish the announcement on take-over bid in 

at least one nationally circulated daily newspaper not later than on Monday, 

11.09.2000.

 

The take-over bid acceptance period lasts from 11.09.2000 until 20.10.2000 and 

the purchase price is EEK 38.00 per share.
