CORRECTION TO INTEREST RATES FOR VIII-SERIES BONDS



Correction.

Interest payments are made to investors holding the VIII-series bonds 

once per year, on November 20, or the first banking day following that 

date.

INTEREST RATES FOR VIII-SERIES BONDS



Interest paid to the holders of VIII-series bonds is 7%, or EEK 7 per 

bond.



Interest payments will be made to investors holding the respective 

bonds as of end-day of 18.11.2000, according to the data from the 

securities register of the Estonian Central Depository for 

Securities. Interest payments are made to investors holding the 

VIII-series bonds once per year, on November 20, or the first 

banking day following that date.



Hüvitusfond will make interest payments to the holders of VIII-series 

bonds in total amount of 3.04 million EEK. Altogether 4,000 investors 

will receive interest payments.



The redemption date for VIII-series bonds is 20.11.2002. Hüvitusfond 

will then buy back the bonds at nominal value, i.e. EEK 100 per bond.



Interest payments from Hüvitusfond bonds to private persons are 

exempt from income tax.
