Eesti Telekom: EMT not declared a SMP company in interconnection services

EMT NOT DECLARED A SMP COMPANY IN INTERCONNECTION SERVICES

On November 13th, the Estonian National Communications Board announced in
their letter No. 8-4-2/2396 to EMT that they will not announce EMT a company
with significant market power (SMP) concerning the interconnection services
in 2002. The condition for such nomination stipulated in the Estonian
Telecommunication Law does not apply as EMT's market share in interconnection
services is below 25%.

According to the Estonian Telecommunication Law, a decision by the Estonian
National Communications Board on nomination of companies with SMP regarding
other services for year 2002 will be announced on December 01, 2001, at the
latest.
