TARGETED DIVIDEND



Based on the preliminary financial results of AS Hansapank in respect

of the financial year 2001 the board has decided to make a proposal to

pay dividend in the amount of EEK 4 (0.256 euros) per one share as

part of the profit distribution proposal.

The final profit distribution proposal will be made after the release

of the audited results.



Hansabank will publish its 2001 unaudited results on February 14.



Hansabank’s annual general meeting will be held on April 8, 2002, at 2

pm.
