NEW COUNCIL MEMBERS



At today’s meeting of the Council of Compensation 

Fund a new Council entered in office with members 

Jürgen Ligi, Jüri Tamm, Veiko Tali, Andres Sutt, 

Kadri Jäätma, Arvo Sirendi and Georg Pelisaar.

Six first mentioned persons from seven aforementioned 

members of the new Council were also members of the 

previous Council.



According to the Compensation Fund Act, Jürgen Ligi, 

Jüri Tamm, Kadri Jäätma, Arvo Sirendi, Georg Pelisaar 

were appointed by the resolution of the Riigikogu, 

Veiko Tali was appointed by the decree of the Minister 

of Finance and Andres Sutt was appointed by the decree 

of the President of Eesti Pank.



Members of the Council elected Jürgen Ligi as Chairman 

of the Council (also Chairman of the previous Council) 

and Veiko Tali as Vice-Chairman of the Council.
