CARLSBERG IN ESTONIAN BEERMARKET



Saku  Brewery Ltd. begins selling Carlsberg  in  standard

0.5-litre  returnable  bottles, it is  the  international

beer  brand  is  launched  in Estonia  in  the  container

favoured by the local consumer.



By  launcing the 0.5-litre returnable bottle is  expected

to get second position for Carlsberg in Estonian imported

beer market.



Saku Brewery is a modern brewery capable of brewing beer

at a high level of quality, which is in line with the

very high quality standards Carlsberg Breweries demands;

therefore the possibility of the local brewing of

Carlsberg at Saku will be evaluated in the future.



In  addition  to  granting  Saku  Brewery  the  right  of

exclusive   distributorship,  the  partnership  agreement

signed  by  Carlsberg and Saku Brewery  in  October  2001

requires  Saku  Brewery to develop a  complete  marketing

programme.   Launching   Carlsberg   in   the   0.5-litre

returnable bottle, which is standard in Estonia, is  just

the first step.



According to Estonian Breweries Association, Saku Brewery

is   the   leader  of  the  Estonian  beer  market   with

accumulative 48.5 percent share in 2001.
