Mart Tooming, Chairman of the Board of Hansa Capital and Member of the
Board of Hansabank, has presented a letter of resignation to Hansabank
Council.

Hansa Capital since its creation in 1993, will leave the bank
following the adoption of a country-based management structure.

Indrek Neivelt: During his 11 years in Hansabank, Mart Tooming has
built up a very successful leasing company. Hansa Capital has had a
great role in not only the development of Hansabank Group, but the

is one of the highest in the world. With the structural changes, I
made him an offer to take up a new position of the Group, which Mart
decided not to accept."

1998-2003 Chairman of the Board of Hansa Capital
1996-1998 Chairman of the Board of Hansa Liising
