ELION AND EMT WERE DECLARED SMP



On   18’th  November, the Communications  Board  declared

Elion  Enterprises Ltd  as  an operator with  significant

market  power  (SMP)  for  2004 in the public   telephone

service market,  public  leased line service market,  and

public  interconnection  service  market.  AS  EMT    was

declared  as  an  SMP  for  2004  in  the  public  mobile

telephone service market.



Elion  Enterprises Ltd was also declared as  an  SMP  for

2001,  2002 and 2003. AS  EMT  was  also declared  as  an

SMP for 2002 and 2003.



The  Communications  Board based  the   determination  of

operators   with  significant market  power for  2004  on

the  market shares of 2002.  The market  share  of  Elion

Enterprises  Ltd  amounted to  87.32%  on  the  telephone

services   market,  73.22%  on the  leased  line  service

market,   and   43.78%  on   the interconnection  service

market. The market share of AS EMT amounted to 63.22%  on

the public mobile telephone service market.



Elion  Enterprises Ltd and AS EMT  reckoned   with    the

Communications   Board  declaring  the   businesses    as

operators  with  significant market  power  for 2004.
