IMPROVING THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Tallinna Farmaatsiatehase AS conforms to the Quality Management System
Standard ISO 9001:2000

The International Certification Body Det Norske Veritas with issuing the
certificate to the Tallinna Farmaatsiatehase AS has certified that the
Quality Management System of company is conform to the international Quality
Management System Standard ISO 9001:2000.
The up-dated Quality Management System Standard is more focused on
leadership, systematical approach to the management and is client oriented.
The Quality System involves whole company: product development, supply of
materials, production of medicines, quality control, release, storage and
distribution.
Tallinna Farmaatsiatehase AS as the only producer of medicines in Estonia
who is certified according to the Quality Management System Standard ISO
9001:2000. The Quality System was certified for the first time in December
1998 in according to standard ISO 9002:1994. The scope of certification is
production of ointments and certificate will be valid until November 30, 2006.
