SAMPO VARAHALDUSE AS WAS RENAMED



Sampo Varahalduse AS changed its business name according to

the resolution adopted by AS Sampo Pank, the sole shareholder

of the company. The new business name of Sampo Varahalduse AS

is Sampo Baltic Asset Management AS. The respective change in

the name of the company was filed with the Commercial Register

on 7 April 2004. 



The composition of the Management Board of the company was 

changed according to the resolution of the Supervisory Board

of Sampo Varahalduse AS adopted on 27 February. The Managing 

Director of Sampo Varahalduse AS Silja Saar was reappointed 

as Chairwoman of the Management Board and Tarmo Lepik and 

Peeter Schamardin were appointed as members of the Management Board.



From 1 May the composition of the Supervisory Board of Sampo Baltic

Asset Management AS will change as follows: beside the former 

members of the Supervisory Board - Susanna Miekk-oja, Härmo Värk, 

Timo Rossi and Toomas Tamsar - Gintautas Galvanauskas will join the 

Supervisory Board as a new member. Susanna Miekk-oja will continue as 

Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board. 



The business name as well as the composition of the Supervisory and

Management Boards of the company were changed due to the need to 

expand the business activities of the company.
