TELE2 AB OPINION ABOUT ACQUISITION OF HOLDING



Estonian Financial Supervision has forwarded following information to be 

published on the Tallinn Stock Exchange:



Tele2 AB announced today, on 31 May 2004, to Estonian Financial Supervision 

that Tele2 AB has under current market conditions and for the time being no 

intention to acquire a substantial holding in AS Eesti Telekom or to make a 

public offer for the shares of the said company.
