On  August  12,  2004, Juris Lujāns, Minister of Economics, visited JSC

"VEF  Radiotehnika  RRR",  and  was  given  a  tour  round  the company

production premises.

JSC  "VEF Radiotehnika RRR" is a developer and manufacturer of acoustic

sound  systems,  electronic  blocks etc. In 2003 the company made a LVL

73.6  thousand profit on LVL 1.5 million sales. The company is planning

to   invest  about  LVL  4.2  million  in  technological  modernisation

projects, expected to double the output capacity. The company will also

seek for the EU structural funds to support the investment projects.
