Primary  placement of "Nordea Bank Finland Plc." medium-term notes will

take place on the Riga Stock Exchange on April 27, 2004. Altogether 730

bearer  notes  will  be  offered at total value of LVL 7.3 million. The

nominal value of one note is LVL 10,000.  The notes mature on September

20, 2004, and the coupon is 3.50% per year.



Primary placement of "Nordea Bank Finland Plc" notes will take place on

the  Riga  Stock  Exchange  automated trading system during the trading

session  of  April 27, pursuant to the placement procedure specified in

the issue prospectus. Pursuant to the provisions of the prospectus, the

price  will  be set during the auction; the issuer shall set the bottom

selling  price.  Any  investor may participate at the primary placement

auction by submitting the bids to banks or brokerage companies licensed

for public trading and custody services.



April  29,  2004  is the settlement date for the notes purchased at the

auction.



Pursuant  to  the  RSE  Management  Board  resolution,  the"Nordea Bank

Finland  Plc."  (represented by "Nordea Bank Finland Plc Latvia branch)

notes  placed  via  the  auction  on April 27 will be listed on the RSE

Official debt securites list on May 5, 2004.



Total  value of the notes issue is LVL 2,700,000. 270 notes of the same

issue are already listed and quoted on the RSE Official debt securities

list since March 25, 2004.
