Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC), pursuant to Item 2.5 of

FCMC  "Regulations  on  buyout  of  shares", hereby advises that it has

issued  a permission to Ruhrgas Energie Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft

(registration  #  HRB  10974,  the  Commercial  Register or Local Court

Essen,  31.01.1994),  a  shareholder  of  "Latvijas  Gāze",  on its own

behalf,  and  on  behalf of  E.ON Energie AG (registration #HRB 132000,

the  Commercial Register or Local Court Munich Court) to launch a share

buyout  offer for JSC "Latvijas Gāze"shares, paying LVL 5.50 per share.
