Juris  Gulbis, Chairman of Management Board and General Director of JSC

"Latvijas  balzams",  has  been  appointed  President  of  S.P.I. Group

starting with August 15, 2003. Rolands Gulbis, formerly Deputy Chairman

of  Management  Board  and  CFO,  was  appointed  the  new  Chairman of

Management  Board and General Director. Rolands Gulbis has been working

for  "Latvijas  balzams"  since  January 2001. He has been a Management

Board member during the past two years.
