In  July 2003 JSC "Ventspils nafta" has set a record of reloaded crude

oil received by rail: more than half a million tons. The reloaded crude

oil  volumes  have  been continuously increasing, exceeding 0.3 million

tons per month over the past few months.

In  July JSC "Ventspils nafta" has reloaded altogether 1.1 million tons

of  oil  and oil products, including 0.4 million tons of diesel oil and

0.1  million  tons  of  petrol.   The  total  volume reloaded since the

beginning  of  the  year  is  7.6 million tons. All shipments have been

received and reloaded exclusively from rail.
