In  a  very  near  future  JSC  "Grindeks"  is  planning to embark upon

founding  a  Baltic pharmaceutical holding. Alongside with Grindeks, it

is  expected  to  include Tallinn Pharmaceutical Plant (TPP) as well as

other producers of pharmaceuticals.



The  first steps towards attaining a closer co-operation between Baltic

pharmaceutical  producers  were  made  in  1998,  when  JSC  "Grindeks"

acquired  a  control interest in TPP. Currently co-operation with other

Baltic  pharmaceutical  businesses  is  being  considered. Negotiations

about possible co-operation have been initiated with "Kalceks".
