Nordea  Bank has issued an overdraft of LVL 2.5 million to "Rīgas kuģu

būvētava" as well as a guaranty line of LVL 3.5 million for operational

needs. The purpose of the overdraft is to finance the needs for current

assets,  while  the  guaranty line will facilitate the participation in

price surveys and in attracting in new orders.

In  future  "Rīgas  kuģu būvētava" intends to considerably increase the

investment  volume,   to  introduce  new the technologies and to expand

production   base,    thus   securing   a  stable  position  in  global

shipbuilding and repairing business.
