On  Thursday,  March  6,  annual  general  meetings  of  the Riga Stock

Exchange  (RSE)  and  Latvian  Central  Depository (LCD) were held. The

meetings  approved  Annual Reports for 2002 and elected the auditor for

2003 ( PricewaterhouseCoopers ).



The AGMs resolved to approve the RSE and the LCD Management Boards with

the   present  membership.  The  RSE  Management  Board,  the  same  as

previously, will consist of: Guntars Kokorevics, Chairman of Management

Board,  Aivars  Slokenbergs,  Deputy  Chairman of Management Board, and

three  board  members  -  Dace  Rungevica, Daiga Auzina - Melalksne and

Girts  Apsitis.  The  LCD  Management  Board  will  consist  of: Aivars

Slokenbergs,  Chairman  of  Management  Board,  and  board members Dace

Rungevica and Girts Apsitis.



The  shareholders  resolved  to re-elect Gert Tiivas (Vice-president of

HEX  Baltic  Operations  )  the  Chairman  of  the  RSE  and of the LCD

Supervisory  Boards. Teuvo Rossi, (Executive Vice-president of HEX Plc.

), was elected as the RSE and LCD new Supervisory Boards' member.



The  rest  of  the  RSE  Supervisory Board members are: Pekka Peiponen,

Senior  Vice-president  of HEX Plc.; Guntars Vitols, President of Parex

Asset Managemen; and Maris Mancinskis, Director of Hansabanka Markets .



The  rest  of  the  LCD  Supervisory Board members are: Pekka Peiponen,

Senior  Vice-president  of  HEX  Plc.;  Maris  Mancinskis,  Director of

Hansabanka  Markets  and  Ansis  Grasmanis,  Vice-president of Latvijas

Unibanka .
