In  January  of  2003  JSC  "Pirmā banka" has made a profit of LVL 199

thousand.  The  services mostly demanded were mortgage loans and retail

consumer loans, as well as deposits. On February 24 a new branch office

will  be  opened  in the centre of Riga, 14 Marijas Street. More branch

offices  will  be  opened  in  Riga during this year. Altogether "Pirmā

banka" runs 17 branch offices and 27 settlement groups; 7 of the branch

offices are located in Riga.
