In  the  first  nine months of 2002 JSC "Kaija" has earned LVL 217,345,

while  net sales in the first three quarters amounted to LVL 8,615,225,

and  the cost of goods sold was LVL 7,181,808. Profit increase over the

same  period  of 2001 is 100%, net sales - 14.16%, cost of goods sold -

8.14%.

In  September  company  profit  was  LVL  2,490  over  net sales of LVL

945,554, and cost of goods sold was LVL 854,230.

Compared  to  August,  profit  has increased by 30.06%, however, it has

reduced several times compared to September of 2001. Net sales increase

over  the  previous  month  is  36.74%,  cost of goods sold increase is

23.84%.  Compared  to  September  of  2001,  net  sales have dropped by

13.44%, and the cost of goods sold - by 8.56%.

As  of  September  30,  2002  "Kaija" balance sheet total was LVL 8.149

million,  and  equity  was  3.743  million.  Balance sheet has grown by

19.79%  since  the  end of September of 2001, while equity has grown by

7.61%.
