On  August  5  the  Board  of  Directors  of  Latvijas  Unibanka took a

decision,  which  envisages  a  new  closed  issue  of  certificates of

deposit.  In  line  with  the  passed decision the certificates will be

issued  in the currencies of EUR and USD for the total amount of LVL 10

million.

With  an aim to attract funds in the domestic money market Unibanka has

already   organised  several  issues  of  short-term  (up  to  1  year)

certificates of deposit with different redemption periods and different

rates. The total amount of the issues is roughly LVL 24 million.
