JSC  "Rīgas Transporta flote" Management Board advises that, according

to  budget  for  2001,  a  loss  of LVL 1,11,610 was expected. However,

thanks to the improvement of the global situation in refrigerated cargo

marine  transportation, and the Company Management Board efforts to cut

down  costs,  the performance has been positive, and non-audited profit

before tax in 2001 was LVL 166 825.
