In  February  2002 "Kaija" has earned LVL 5,527. Net sales amounted to

LVL  935,003,  which  is a 64.42% increase over February of 2001, and a

1.17% increase over January of 2002. Costs of goods sold have increased

by 71.57% over February of 2001 and were LVL 856,973. The increase over

January of 2002 is 1.05%.

In  the first two months of the year net sales amount to LVL 1,881,032,

and  the  costs  of  goods sold were 1,705,044. The respective increase

over the same period in the previous year is 31.69% and 33.34%.

JSC  "Kaija" balance sheet total, as of February 28, 2002 was LVL 6.726

million, and equity LVL 3.701 million. Balance sheet total, compared to

the  end  of  February  2001  has  increased  by 16.22%. Equity remains

practically  the  same as in the previous month, and has grown by 6.45%

over that of February 2001.

Calculated  on  February  2002 figures, ROE and ROA have increased over

the  previous  month,  and are 1.7% and 0.82% respectively. In February

EPS were 0.11 santims.
