On February 18, 2002 Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB), a majority
shareholder of "Pirmā banka", became the strategic investor in AB
Lietuvos Zemes Ukio Bankas by acquiring 76.01% of shares. The
acquisition is a part of NORD/LB plans in the Baltic Region. The rest
of the shareholders in LZUB are the EBRD (11.37%) and AB Vilniaus
Bankas (11.44%). As a bank in the NORD/LB Group, LZUB will co-operate
also with "Pirmā banka".
