Primary  placement, by the method of auction, of 4700 mortgage bonds of

AC  series,  issued  by state joint stock company "Latvijas Hipotēku un

zemes banka", will be conducted on February 10, 2000. Technical code LV

0000999159,  settlement  date February 15, 2000. Accrued interest as of

the settlement date 0.00%. The orders for the auction shall be accepted

from 17:00 till 20:00 on February 9, and from

7:45 till 14:10 on February 10.
