Pursuant  to the Regulations of Riga Stock Exchange, part V, section 1,

point 7

and  8,  the  board  of  Riga Stock Exchange has decided to suspend the

quotation  of JSC 'Liepājas metalurgs' on the Second list of Riga Stock

Exchange starting from July 20,1998.
