'Balta' for 1997.

A/s 'Balta' profit before taxes was 1,27 millions lats

Assets

of  A/s  'Balta' for 1997 increased by 5,3 millions lats. At the end of

year  assets  was 14,2 millions lats. Technical reserves and provisions

was 7,8

millions lats.

Companies  subscribed  and  paid  in  capital  was  3,3  millions lats,

companies capital was 5,1 millions lats.

Investment income was LVL 703 099, investments in government securities

at the end of year was 6,1 million lats.

A/s 'Balta' received 13,4 millions lats as a premium of insurance.
