Changes in the sales strategy of the furniture division

At the beginning of October, the Furniture Division of Viisnurk AS took over the
sales activities of the Swiss company Skano AG and a network of sales
representatives covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Skano AG has been
involved in furniture sales for over twenty years and its primary clients are
purchasing groups and retail chains active on the European German-speaking
market. In 2003, the turnover of Skano AG was 16 million kroons. At present, we
are working on re-concluding the furniture sales framework agreements with bigger
purchasing groups of the target market. The direct servicing of retail shops
starts from Pärnu in the second half of October. The take-over indicates a
significant change in the sales strategy of the Furniture Division: the aim is to
use new sales channels for generating stable growth of sales volumes and
profitability.

At the end of September, the Furniture Division of Viisnurk participated under
the trade mark of Skano in M.O.W. (Möbel Ordermesse Westfalica), the German
largest wholesale fair aimed at specialists, in Barntrup. At the fair, the
Division presented new Skano product lines developed in cooperation with German
designers. First agreements have been reached for displaying them in retail
stores.
