The Board of “VALMIERA GLASS FIBRE” JSC informs that on 19th of November,
2004, there will be officially commissioned the new production line of
non-woven materials.
This production line is a modern building which was assembled by the company
RENESANCE managed by Valmiera’s businessman Raimonds Kuncēvičs.
This is also a common achievement of chief professionals and textile
processing production staff of the company while accomplishing investitions
in amount of 1,7 millions EUR – during building works, purchasing the devices
and assimilating the technologies.
After the planned production capacity will be achieved, the production line
will be run by 25 employees by reaching the production capacity level of best
European companies.
The basic production style will be glass fibre mat which is beeing used for
warm and sound insulation in car industry, ship building, everyday equipment
and even in cosmos technologies.
The production of non-woven materials allows to make usage completely of
technologic remainders of textile glass fibres by preparing them specifically
for the production.
This is highly profitable both from economic and environment protection viewpoint.
The obtained product is not dangerous for the environment because it does not
contain chemical binders, and the fibres are being mixed and bound mechanically.
