Bank NORD/LB Latvija is planning to place its central office outside Old 

town



As we have informed before, bank NORD/LB Latvija is planning to place its 

central office outside Old town in the nearest 3-5 years.



This plans for future are based on two main reasons: first, bank NORD/LB 

Latvija is growing rapidly, and the current building becomes too small for 

effective servicing the clients and convenient working environment for the 

employees of the bank. Secondly, the customers and employees are facing 

parking and transportation problems.



We want to inform you that one more step towards new central office is made 

– a deal on the sales of the current building of central administration on 

6 Smilsu street, has begun. The next steps of the deal are planned in December 

of this year- January 2005, and then further information on the actualities 

will be provided.
