SAF Tehnika Will Supply Equipment to the Russian Branch of Tele2 AB

Riga, 22 December – the leading Baltic telecommunication equipment developer and
producer a/s SAF Tehnika has signed an agreement on equipment supply to the
Russian Branch of the Swedish Company Group Tele2 AB in the Region of Irkutsk,
named a/s Corporation Severnaya Korona.

According to the agreement signed, a/s SAF Tehnika will supply radio equipment to
build telecommunication networks in the Region of Irkutsk, which is a major step
in strengthening the company’s positions in the Russian market, thus also
facilitating recognizability of SAF brand in this strategically important region.

The Swedish Tele2 AB Group is the leading telecommunication company of European
scale, offering the services of fixed and mobile telephony, as well as data
transmission, internet and cable TV services to more than 24.9 million customers
in 24 countries. SAF Tehnika already supplies equipment to Tele2 AB branches in
Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, thus the choice of the Latvian company as its
