Application of part-time working time



The negative and complicated situation in the Russian and Ukrainian

automotive industry makes a direct impact on the work and sales volumes of

AS Norma. In this connection, AS Norma filed a request with the Labour

Inspectorate for applying part-time working time to 511 employees for 

three months from 1 February to 30 April 2005. Part-time working time is 

applied to the employees whose duties relate to making safety belts for the 

Eastern market.

The intended part-time working time is 32 hours a week.

Part-time working time is not applied in the division manufacturing for

Autoliv and in the subsidiaries of AS Norma.
