JSC Riga Transport fleet Management’s Board report on the activities of the company



The fleet of the company operates according to the planned targets. 

All of the ships of the company operate, downtimes are not present.

The world market of sea refrigerator transport keeps stability, with the 

tendency of reduction of price on fuel.

As planned, M/V "ANDRA" in October - November, 2004 has passed the planned 

repair on ship-repair shipyard in Valparaiso, Chile and at the moment already 

transports cargo, and goes from South America to coasts of China.

In December, 2004 M/V "FRIO PACIFIC" has passed docking repair on Liepāja 

shipyard and continued work under the annual Time - Chapter.

During the winter period of year the World market of sea refrigerator transport 

becomes more active. For the present moment our ships transport a squid, fowl 

meat, fish, work in various places of the World Ocean.

The tanker of the company, m/v "Pacific Trader", continues to operate successfully 

and supplies cargo ships with fuel in area of Pacific Ocean.

All the ships of the company are in conformity with the international requirements 

on safety and transport of cargoes; they are in a good technical condition.

On the end of 2004 the number of fleet of the company has not changed and makes 

13 ships; 12 refrigerator ships and one tanker.
