Jānis Birks to quit JSC “Latvijas Jūras medicīnas centrs”  



JSC “Latvijas Jūras medicīnas centrs”  Supervisory Board on its meeting of April 

26, 2005 reviewed the resignation letter by Jānis Birks, Chairman of Management 

Board. He has been elected Deputy Chairman of Riga Council, and the law prohibits 

combining this position with a position in a private structure. Supervisory Board 

accepted the resignation.

Marta Aizsilniece, a Board member, was appointed Chairman of Management Board, and 

Andris Vīgants was elected a board member (he has been with  “Latvijas Jūras medicīnas 

centrs”  since 1999, and since 2003 in the capacity of CFO).
