AS Sampo Pank Will Merge with AS Sampo Liising



On 5 May 2005 AS Sampo Pank and AS Sampo Liising concluded an agreement on 

the merger of AS Sampo Liising with AS Sampo Pank. As a result of the merger 

the assets and liabilities of AS Sampo Liising will be transferred to AS Sampo Pank. 



AS Sampo Liising is the wholly owned subsidiary of AS Sampo Pank that provides 

leasing services. The balance-sheet date of the merger is 30 June 2005. 



The merger is related to the internal reorganisation of the Consolidated Group of 

AS Sampo Pank aimed at raising the efficiency of the operations of the Group. The 

merger will not bring about any changes either to the customers or the partners of 

AS Sampo Liising. The Group will continue to offer lease products under Sampo Liising’s 

brand name, at the same time taking advantage of widening business opportunities.
