CONVOCATION OF A GENERAL SHAREHOLDERS’ MEETING



At 10am, on 5 September 2000, a general meeting of AB Lietuvos Energija

shareholders will take place.

On the agenda:

1) decrease of the authorised capital of AB Lietuvos Energija;

2) annulment of shares held by the state by right of ownership;

3) issue regarding the debt of Belarus state energetics concern Belenergo;

4) other current issues.
