APPOINTMENT OF THE NEW MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD



On August 14 2001, during its meeting the Supervisory Board of AB Kauno

Energija relieved Mr. Antanas Budnikas and Mr. Romualdas Škėma from the posts

of the members of the Management Board and appointed a new member of the Board

Mr. Aloyzas Zairis.
