SALES OF PRODUCTION IN JANUARY 2002



Celebrating the 43rd anniversary of its activity, AB Vilniaus Vingis started

the year 2002 with much success. In January of the current year, the company’s

sales volume amounted to LTL 11593.4thou, which is by 5.4% more than in January

2001 (LTL 11004.0thou). Such a growth was recorded due to the increased sales

of transformers. In January 2002, the company sold transformers for LTL

707.0thou, or by 1.67 times more than during the corresponding period last

year. In January 2002, the company sold 172thou units of transformers – this is

the largest amount of the product sold per month since 1994. This year, export

volume reached 68.1% (in 2001, the average value did not exceed 68%). From 1

February 2002, securities of AB Vilniaus Vingis are admitted to the Official

Trading List of the NSEL.
