BUSINESS PLAN FOR 2002 APPROVED

At the meeting of the Management Board of AB Vilniaus Vingis of 1 March 2002,
the company’s business plan for 2002 was approved. Sales volumes of not less
than LTL 147.0 million are planned, which is by 6.8% more than in 2001 (sales
of LTL 137.7 million). The anticipated profit is expected to reach LTL 10.0
million (in 2001, LTL 9.3 million).
In February 2002, sales volumes reached LTL 11.3 million. During the first two
months of the current year, the company sold its products for LTL 22.9 million,
or by 1.3% more than during the corresponding period in 2001. Such a growth
resulted from a 5.4% increase in export. More products are exported to Germany
(LTL 1.0 million), England (LTL 0.7 million). For the first time, the kinescope
factory Samsung SDIH in Hungary purchased deflection yokes for LTL 0.4
million. This year, the export level reaches LTL 68.1% (during January –
February 2001, this level did not exceed 65.5%).
