The preliminary profit earned in the first quarter of 2002 is LTL 1,422.7thou.

The sum of amounts payable and liabilities of AB Klaipedos Baldai as of 31

March 2002 exceeds 75% of the own capital. The results have not been approved

by the company’s Management Board.
