RESULT OF BUSINESS ACTIVITY OF AB VILNIAUS VINGIS FROM JANUARY TO JUNE 2002



According to unaudited preliminary data, during the period from January to June

sales of AB Vilniaus Vingis made up LTL 77,026thou, which is by 17% more than

during the corresponding period in 2001.



The pre-tax profit (preliminary unaudited) for the period from January to June

2002 reached LTL 7,641thou, which is by 85% more than in the first half-year in

2001. During the corresponding period last year the company earned profit of

LTL 1,800thou.



AB Vilniaus Vingis was granted the status of a reliable exporter.
