HAS NO REORGANISATION PLANS YET



In response to the information, that was announced in today’s mass media,

Lietuvos Telekomas, the largest telecommunications company, announces that the

Company has not developed any plans on the change of the organisational

structure and employees’ redundancy.



General Manager Kjell-Ove Blom has already visited the Company’s departments

and subsidiaries and familiarized with their activities. According to the

General Manager, the recent priority for the Company is to implement a fixed-

line telephony development plan.



“I have not made any decision on the downsizing of the employees, however some

changes might be expected. I have to assess the present Company’s activity and

make plans with due responsibility”, says General Manager K. O. Blom. According

to him, the public will be informed on the particular Company’s plans.



„The main efforts will be oriented towards customer so we should expect the

changes in this area”, said the Company’s General Manager.
