Preliminary performance result (consolidated) for the 1 half of 2004



AB "LISCO Baltic Service" profit for the 1st half of 2004 is 9.887 million LTL.



Due to impacts leading up to the 1 May 2004 when Lithuania joined the EU, the

volumes carried on our lines in the 2nd quarter of 2004 exceeded our

expectations.  Therefore, the result of the 2nd quarter of 2004 was

exceptionally with a profit of 6.775 million LTL. 



After 1 May 2004 when Lithuania joined the EU, the volumes carried on our lines

have decreased.  Therefore, we expect that 3rd and 4th quarters 2004 will

generate profits up to the level of last year.  Expectations for the full year

result is a profit in the range of 11 to 14 million LTL.
